Over the years, organizations such as Google, Internews, the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), Vishwas News, Sri Lanka CERT, and other regional partners have trusted Factree by Fact Crescendo to deliver high-quality media literacy and digital safety programs across India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The partnerships featured below represent some of the many collaborations that have helped us expand digital literacy and online safety education across South Asia.

Google & Internews

Training High-Risk Users

Delivered under Google’s Global Partnerships program in collaboration with Internews, this initiative trained 1500+ journalists, civil society members, and journalism students on digital security and online safety. Participants learned how to secure accounts using passkeys, security keys, and advanced protection features while improving their ability to identify scams, phishing attacks, and misinformation. The project worked with leading media organizations and helped participants adopt stronger digital safety practices in both their professional and personal lives.

International Center for Journalists (ICFJ)

Disarming Disinformation Initiative

As the Asia partner for ICFJ’s Disarming Disinformation Initiative, Factree trained media literacy facilitators from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the Philippines. The project focused on building local capacity to combat misinformation through community-based education, creating a network of trainers capable of delivering workshops tailored to regional languages and challenges.

Sach Ke Sathi: Seniors

In partnership with Vishwas News, Factree designed a digital literacy program for senior citizens living in digitally vulnerable communities. The project reached over 1,000 elderly participants across Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesha and Uttarakhand through hands-on workshops covering WhatsApp scams, fake calls, deepfakes, misinformation, and cyber fraud. Using simple language and practical examples, the initiative helped seniors become more confident and safer digital users.

Sri Lanka CERT

Scam Awareness Video Series

Working with Sri Lanka CERT, Factree produced a public awareness video series focused on online scams, phishing attacks, and digital safety. The campaign translated complex cybersecurity concepts into simple, actionable guidance, helping audiences better recognize and avoid common online threats.

Rainbow Institute & U.S. Embassy Sri Lanka

Media Literacy for Emerging Journalists

Factree partnered with the Rainbow Institute on a media literacy and fact-checking program supported by the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka. The initiative trained aspiring journalists in verification techniques, misinformation detection, and responsible digital reporting, helping strengthen information integrity within the media ecosystem.
